Founder, Costa Mina began his career as a mechanical engineer in the chemical, oil and gas, and mining sectors. Knowing that an organisation’s success depends on getting the best people on board, Costa wanted to try his hand at recruitment.
During a decade of success recruiting people for management roles, and holding equity and board positions, Costa identified a growing need for independent pre-employment screening. And Reality Check was born.
As the Reality Check business has evolved, and at the request of many clients, the service offering has been expanded to include shortlisting services and exit interviews.

The client base represents a wide variety of industries that include FMCG, financial services, information technology, pharmaceutical, logistics and transportation and light and heavy engineering.
Costa has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree and a Masters of Business Administration. Based in Sydney, his interests include entertaining friends and spending time with his wife and two young sons.
